Norway – 8 Days/7 Nights
Day 1: Arrive at Bergen
Upon arrival at the Bergen Airport, take the transfer to the hotel and check in. Surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords, Bergen is a beguiling city. Chocolate-box, clapperboard houses creep up the hillsides, ferries flit around the fjords, and a cluster of excellent art museums provide a welcome detour, and not only in case Bergen’s notoriously fickle weather sets in. In the evening, visit the pretty wharf area called Bryggen which UNESCO declared a World Heritage Site.
Day 2: Bergen
Start your day with the sightseeing tour that stops at the major sights and attractions in Bergen, like Bryggen, The Fish Market, Bergen Aquarium, and more. Explore Mount Fløyen Funicular – the journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes in a cable car and you get an amazing view of the whole town.
Day 3: Bergen to Flam
On this day you will have a cruise trip to Flam, a small picturesque village and home of the Flam Railway. Explore the magnificent Sognefjord by comfortable express boat. The Sognefjord is located in the middle of Fjord Norway and stretches right into the foot of Jotunheimen and Josterdalen national park. Nature is both dramatic and hospitable, and you can take part in exhilarating activities.
Day 4: Flam
On this day join in a fjord cruise and experience one of the most beautiful and popular fjord areas in Norway, the UNESCO world heritage area in the Nærøy fjord! The narrow and spectacular Nærøyfjord is surrounded by steep mountains with snow-covered tops that stretch up to 1800 meters above sea level. Waterfalls cascade down the mountains and picturesque villages dot the landscape. Spend the evening on your own to explore small and amazing Flam!
Day 5: Flam to Myrdal to Oslo
On this day you will have train trips to Oslo via small town, Myrdal. This will allow you to explore the famous Flamsbana! The Flåm Railway has been described as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway! The train to Oslo runs through spectacular scenery, vertiginous mountainsides, foaming waterfalls, through tunnels, and offers so many viewpoints that, for many people, a single trip up and down is not enough!
Day 6: Oslo
Oslo is a gorgeous coastal city known for its green spaces and lively arts scene – and there’s some breathtakingly beautiful nature on the city’s doorstep! Take a sightseeing tour and enjoy fantastic views of the beautiful capital! You can visit the Royal Castle, the Vigeland Sculpture Park or the spectacular Opera House, the Viking Ship Museum or Kon-Tiki, Fram & Norwegian Maritime Museum!
Day 7: Oslo
Discover Viking ship museum – home to three historic ships from the age of Vikings! The Viking Ship Museum shows discoveries from the Gokstad, Oseberg, and Tune ships, plus small boats, sleds, a beautiful cart, tools, textiles, and household utensils! In the Historical museum, you can find the largest collection of items from pre-historic times and the Middle Ages found in Norway!
Day 8: Departure from Oslo
Transfer to Airport for your return journey.
