The magic of vibrant Rajasthan – its rich heritage, colorful culture, exciting desert safaris, shining sand dunes, an amazing variety of lush forests, and varied wildlife – makes it a destination nonpareil. Rajasthan is often portrayed as one vast open-air museum, with its relics so well preserved that it delights even the most skeptical traveler.

Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur

On arriving at Jaipur Airport, transfer to the hotel. This evening visit ChokhiDhani. ChokhiDhani, translated from Rajasthani, literally means “Rajasthani Culture” and this resort village is a celebration of just that. ChokhiDhani is a well-known tourist attraction in Jaipur. The aim of the resort is to give tourists a full experience of Rajasthani culture& food. The entire resort’s theme is inspired by a village setting, with many cultural activities held here. The unique experience draws visitors from all over the world.

The resort was started in 1989 and is sprawled across 10 acres of land, with unique architecture that reflects the grandeur of the Rajasthani tradition. The architecture is heavily influenced by the Indo-Saracenic style.

At ChokhiDhani, you can relive the memories of the battle through the enactment of the HaldighatiKaYudh, enjoy traditional folk dances, watch a puppet show, watch a magic show, enjoy shopping for traditional wares, take rides and enjoy a gastronomic fair.

Day 2: Jaipur – Bikaner via Ajmer/Pushkar

Proceed to Bikaner. En-route visit to Ajmer, which includes Ajmer-e-ShariefDargah, and Ana Sagar lake. Ajmer-e-ShariefDargah, the Ajmer Dargah is a Sufi shrine that is believed to be one of the holiest places in Rajasthan. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who was a Persian Sufi saint, is enshrined in this place owing to his secular preaching and then visit Sagar Lake. Later move to Pushkar and visited various Temples and Ghats and the holy Pushkar lake. There are more than 400 hundred temples in Pushkar but the main attraction is the temple of Lord Brahma, the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. By afternoon transfer to Bikaner. En-route visits Asia’s biggest camel breeding farm to watch different breeds of Camels.

Day 3: Bikaner Halfday Sightseeing – Jaisalmer

Visit Junagarh Fort which includes AnupMahal, GajMandir, Sheesh Mahal, and Prachina Museum & Lalgarh Palace. Later, transfer to Jaisalmer.

Day 4: Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Desert Camp

Visit Jaisalmer Fort which is made of unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why it’s known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. After that visit Patwon-ki-haveli, and Nathmal-ki-haveli.Salimsingh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from the 12th to 15th centuries. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. After that also visit Gadishar Lake. After that transfer to Thar desert (35 Km from Jaisalmer). En-Route visits Kuldhara Village (A haunted place in Jaisalmer).

Evening proceeds for a camel ride on Sam sand dune to experience the spectacular view of sunset in the Thar desert. In the evening enjoy a bonfire with Rajasthani folk dance & Cultural activities.

Day 5: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

Transfer to Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Mehrangarh Fort- situated on a low sandstone hill, within the fort visit MotiMahal and PhoolMahal& the Jaswant Thada – an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899. Also, visit Kaylana Lake and Mandore Garden. Evening check into the hotel.

Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day 6: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur

Proceed to Udaipur. En route visit Ranakpur, visit the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple, and Nathdwara visit the famous Shrinath Ji Temple.

Day 7: Udaipur – Local Sightseeing

Proceed for a full day of sight-seeing of Udaipur, which includes Fateh Sagar, Maharana Pratap Memorial, photo stop at Nehru Garden, Sehelion-KI-Bari – Queen’s resort for their friends, Sukhadia Circle (Drive Pass), Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum – a museum of folk and art, it displays a rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls. You will also visit City Palace – The largest palace complex of Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – built by Maharana Jagat Singh and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Gulab Bagh.

In the evening you will experience the breathtaking boat tour over the picturesque Lake Pichola (at your own cost) to admire the royal buildings around the Lake and enjoy the scenic sunset view. From the lake, you will have a wonderful view of the City Palace stretching along the east bank, while the south bank has pleasant gardens running down to the waterside.

Day 8: Excursion – Chittorgarh

Proceed for a day tour to Chittorgarh Fort – Chittorgarh is the epitome of Rajput pride, romance, and spirit. It reverberates with a history of heroism and sacrifice, which is evident as it echoes with the tales sung by the Bards of Rajasthan. The main reason for visiting Chittorgarh is its massive hilltop fort, which is a depiction of Rajput culture and values. The fort stands on a 240-hectares site on a 180m high hill that rises rapidly from the plains below. After the tour return to Udaipur in the evening.

Day 9: Udaipur – Departure

Proceed to visit one of the most beautiful places near Udaipur, Eklingji Temple also known as Kailashpuri. Situated around 22 km to the north of Udaipur, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built in the mid-eighth century. Though the temple has gone through several reconstructions over the years, the lasting glory of the edifice still endures, enthralling visitors.

Besides being an important religious destination, the temple also boasts of stunning architecture, adorned with a pyramid-like roof and ornately carved walls. A stellar, black marble idol of the four-faced Eklingji, a form of Lord Shiva, dominates the temple. It is one of the most visited temples in Udaipur. After which you are free for shopping till your transfer to the airport and in the evening transfer to Udaipur airport for your return journey home.
